SQL-Ledger Accounting Feature

  • Import customers, vendors, parts, exchangerates with other utilities
  • post transaction using the API
  • Exchange rates could be kept up to date with procmail or similar utilities
  • the API also allows generating data for recurring invoices

  Note: There are no ready made solutions to import data exported from other accounting packages. Data must be properly formatted into either SQL statements, or as a copy command or using the API. In all cases you will have to use other utilities such as cut, paste, awk, perl to properly format the data before you can import into the tables. The table structure is supplied in human readable form with the code.
